How to book a chair at The Twisted Willow in Berea
The Twisted Willow Barbershop
Every service at The Twisted Willow is booked by appointment through Vagaro. You pick your barber and your time before you come in, so you skip the wait when you get here.
To book online, use the Book button on this site. It opens our booking page, where you pick a barber, then a service and a time. If you would rather talk to a person, call the shop during business hours and we will set it up with you over the phone.
Picking a barber when every name is new
Five barbers take appointments here. Aaron Hughes owns the shop and cuts alongside MaryJo Rodefer, Austin Gabbard, Will Webb and Jonathan Connor.
Any chair is a good chair. Until you have a barber of your own here, book whoever has the time that fits your schedule.
The barber you looked at may have nothing open that suits you. Check the other names for that day before you look at another date.
Each barber here builds a client base of their own. When a cut comes out the way you wanted, pick that barber again on the booking page.
Which service to book
A line-up is a quick appointment, the service to book when the edges have grown in but the rest of the cut still looks right. For a beard, there are beard trims and beard shaping, and we make our own beard oil in house. The hot towel face shave is the signature service here, and we do facials as well.
Kids cuts are for ages 1 and up, and a parent books them the same way, choosing the barber and the time.
If you cannot tell which service fits what you want done, call us and ask before you book.
Our hours, and the drive to Berea
Tuesday through Thursday we are open 10 AM to 6 PM. Friday runs 10 AM to 7 PM, Saturday runs 10 AM to 2 PM, and the shop is closed Sunday and Monday.
Those are also the hours to call the shop. Friday is the latest we stay open, which helps if you work during the day.
When you choose a time, count the drive from anywhere in Madison County or down from Lexington, which is about forty minutes north.
If you are running behind
We ask everyone to arrive on time so each barber can stay on schedule. If you are running behind, call and we will tell you whether the appointment still works. Save the shop’s number in your phone when you book, so that call is easy to make.
Depending on the barber’s availability, a late arrival may need to be rescheduled. If the appointment has to move, we can look at a new time with you while you are on the line.
Moving or canceling
To move or cancel an appointment, do it as early as you can, through your booking confirmation or by calling the shop. An early heads-up lets another client take the spot. If you want the same barber on the new day, say so when you call.
On a Sunday or Monday, when the shop is closed, your booking confirmation is the way to make the change.
Vagaro sends a text reminder before your appointment. When it comes in, check the time against the rest of your day, and if it no longer fits, change it right then.
Stopping in without a booking
When you are already out in Berea and decide you want a cut, call the shop before you stop in to see if a chair is open. Tell us which service you want, and the barber you are hoping for if you already have a name in mind.
Otherwise, open the booking page, take whichever chair has a time that fits, and we will see you on Clay Drive.
